‘, while recognising there is a level of concern and anxiety among teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as among parents and young people, in relation to the reopening of schools, realises the educational damage being done by the protracted shutdown of our schools; supports the safe reopening of schools at the earliest opportunity; and calls on the Minister of Education, in consultation with relevant agencies, to put in place arrangements based on social distancing requirements of no more than 1 metre.’
